A prepare conductor was killed and eight different folks injured after a high-speed prepare derailed in southern China on Saturday morning, state media CCTV reported.

The prepare derailed at 10:30am native time after hitting particles from a landslide that was on the monitor whereas it was approaching Rongjiang county, Guizhou province, CCTV stated.

The prepare conductor died in hospital, CCTV stated. One crew member and 7 passengers had been injured.

The remaining 136 passengers had been safely evacuated, and the incident is below investigation, CCTV stated.
